EDMUND PYRCIOCHEdmund Pyrcioch is an instructor with John E. Reid & Associates after spending 32 years with the Chicago Police Department. He started his career with the Chicago Police Department in 1966 at the age of 19, as a police cadet, and became a police officer in 1967 at 20 years of age. He spent those years in various assignments in the patrol division, gang crimes, the detective division, and the Inspector General's Office. While assigned to the Gang Crimes Division he conducted investigations involving various street and motorcycle gangs. Mr. Pyrcioch was assigned to the Homicide & Sex Unit as Detective investigating related crimes, and police involved shootings. When assigned to the Inspector Generals Office of the City of Chicago, Mr. Pyrcioch investigated crimes involving civilian employees of the City of Chicago. Mr. Pyrcioch has had a well rounded and diverse career in which he was involved in foot and vehicle surveillances, prepared and executed search warrants for narcotics and other various crimes. He also worked in an undercover capacity, investigated a variety of crimes, conducted many interviews and interrogations, and prepared written confessions of criminal offenders. Mr. Pyrcioch retired from the Chicago Police Department in 1999. |
