Directing an agent staff of both FBI and DEA personnel, along with task force police officers from varying local law enforcement agencies. The Southwest Border Initiative is dedicated to pro-active complex investigations which target the major drug trafficking cartels of Mexico. The management of resources, budgets and extensive interaction with officials of foreign governments encompass the sphere of responsibilities.
