FRANK GOFF
STREET CRIMES PROGRAM Frank Goff is an instructor with John E. Reid and Associates after spending a total of 32 yrs. with the Chicago Police Department. He is a nationally recognized expert in "Concealed Compartments" in Autos, Homes and Furniture He also authored a law to ban the manufacture, and possession of such compartments in Automobiles. This provides for a criminal charge as well as the confiscation of the vehicle by the local jurisdiction. He spent the last six years traveling across the country teaching approximately 25,000-law enforcement personnel about the inherent dangers these "concealed compartments" pose to the officer on the street. Mr. Goff was active with the U.S. Army Reserve and trained with the Fifth Special Forces Group / Terrorist and Counter Terrorist Installation/Bomb Group.
Mr. Goff spent 30 yrs. in very aggressive units as a member of the second largest
police department in the country, the Chicago Police Department. He received the
Blue Star Award for being shot in the line of duty, Mr. Goff has also received the
Award of Valor, the Carter Harrison Special Honorable Mention Award, Numerous other
Department Awards, as well as Awards from outside agencies as well as letters of
appreciation from citizens. The Director of the FBI and other Federal Agencies,
as well as citizens. He also received a prosecutors award for attaining 309 consecutive
felony convictions and maintained a felony conviction rate of 99% during his career.
His diverse background and variety of work experiences qualify him as an expert
in many types of criminal investigations. Some of them include: Working undercover,
Including working as a Drug Dealer, Drug User Robbery Decoy and working within A
Motorcycle Gang. Organized Crime/Narcotics Investigations, Robbery/Homicide/Sex
Investigations and Auto Theft.
One year as a plainclothes officer working in an undercover capacity for the Vice
